Ang Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) ay gawa ng kilalang Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) na proseso kung saan ang ammonia gas (NH3) at isang gaseous boron halide tulad ng boron trichloride(BCI3) ay tumutugon sa isang mataas na temperatura na CVD furnace upang magdeposito.
